The 2020 Acura TLX: Your New Luxury Sedan

The Acura TLX has the looks of a performance sports sedan and delivers the horsepower and agility to back it up. Its recent redesign adopts the Acura Precision Concept that applies bold styling inside and out. There are new trims available for 2020 that include the A-Spec, Tech A-Spec, and the SH-AWD model series.

The TLX’s distinctive exterior styling is led by its assertive Diamond Pentagon Grille, followed by sleek and modern lines that flow to dual-exhaust pipes. This crafted design includes standard and functional features that are road-ready for Canada. All trims have heated power-adjusting side mirrors with integrated LED turn indicators, a front windshield de-icer, Jewel Eye LED headlights, 18” alloy wheels, and more. 

The A-Spec and Tech A-Spec models add a black trunk spoiler and other darkened highlights. Higher trim levels upgrade to special features such as auto-dimming mirrors, headlamp washers, 19” wheels, and side sill garnishes. 

The performance of each TLX trim reflects the sporty exterior. Standard in the front-wheel-drive A-Spec and Tech A-Spec is a 2.4-litre iVTEC four-cylinder engine that creates 206 horsepower with 182 lb-ft of riveting torque. Matched with an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission with paddle shifters, drivers have greater control over acceleration. All FWD trims include the Precision All-Wheel Steer system. 

All-wheel drive trims (SH series) include a 3.5-litre, 24-valve i-VTEC V6 engine that develops a serious 290 horsepower and 267 lb-ft of torque. You will have even more fun with the gear-rich nine-speed automatic transmission and paddle shifters.
