The 2016 Acura MDX delivers yet again with improvements to ensure that Acura owners receive the best. The newly available features include the all-new 9-speed automatic transmission, featuring a Sport Sequential shift with paddle shifters. The sleek new push-button transmission gets rid of the traditional shifter lever and delivers shift changes 25% faster! Fuel economy improves yet again with this new transmission as does the performance, particularly at launch and with city driving. Highway driving improves significantly with lower rpm's at highway speed and more responsive passing power. Fuel economy is now rated at a combined city and highway rating of 11.1 L/100km. Along with the improved transmission, there is an improved and more efficient SH-AWD system which is lighter and more advanced than the previous generation.
